Privacy
- Your audio stays on your device. Files you drop in are decoded and analyzed by JavaScript in your browser. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- No accounts, no cookies of our own. BabylonTone has no sign-up and stores nothing about you.
- Anonymous page analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.
- Apple Music search. When you search, your browser sends the search words straight to Apple's iTunes Search API and loads 30-second preview clips and artwork from Apple's servers. Apple's own privacy policy covers those requests.
- Lessons link. The "Book an intro lesson" button (shown with your own files, not next to Apple previews) opens johnnybabylon.com, which has its own policies.

Apple Music previews and artwork
- Search results, 30-second preview clips and album artwork are provided courtesy of iTunes, through Apple's public iTunes Search API. They are © their respective owners.
- The "Listen on Apple Music" badge is Apple's official artwork, loaded unmodified from Apple's marketing tools, and links to the item on Apple Music.
- Previews are played and analyzed only as streamed from Apple; BabylonTone doesn't store, download for keeps, or redistribute them.
- Every result and analyzed preview links back to its page on Apple Music, where you can hear or buy the full track.
- Analysis of a preview describes that 30-second excerpt only, not the full recording.
- Apple, Apple Music and iTunes are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. BabylonTone is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Apple.
